“Kristiansand Pinball Open – an update from the KPO Team
First of all: thank you. We are truly overwhelmed by the amazing community and all the wonderful people who have joined us year after year. KPO has become what it is because of you, and we are forever grateful for the support, energy, friendship, and love you bring to the tournament.
We know many of you have been wondering about KPO27, so here is an update. We have been in discussions with the hotel, and they will be going through a major renovation this year and into next spring. We have looked at several possible solutions, and there are many options on the table. However, after careful consideration, we in the organizing team feel that we would not be able to deliver the same KPO experience with the options currently available.
Because of this, we have made the difficult decision to postpone KPO for one year. This is absolutely not the end of KPO, far from it. We see this as an opportunity to recharge, come back with 200% energy, and make KPO28 something truly special. With a fully renovated hotel, we are confident that KPO can continue to be “probably the best tournament in the world”! ☺️
In the meantime, our focus is now on the Norwegian Championship, which will be held in Kristiansand in November at the local club location. That is why you will now find a new page on the website in Norwegian. ☺️
We are going to miss you all in 2027, but we hope our paths cross at another tournament or location before then. Thank you for understanding, thank you for being part of the KPO family, and thank you for making this community so special.
